Role and Responsibilities:

• Node Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain blockchain nodes across diverse environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Infrastructure Automation: Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate node deployment and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Shared Infrastructure Management: Implement best practices to deploy and maintain shared infrastructure tools such as Airflow, Slurm, and Ray.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for early issue detection using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance node performance and scalability to accommodate increased load and transaction volume.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues, and implement real-time fixes to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration: Partner with developers and product teams to integrate new features and support ongoing projects.
• Security Practices: Ensure adherence to security best practices and contribute to regular security assessments and audits.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for node management processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles, with a focus on blockchain node management.
• Experience with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other distributed ledger technologies is a plus.
• Experience in FinOps is a plus.
• Previous contributions to open-source blockchain projects is a plus.
• Certifications in cloud computing or DevOps practices is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, especially those pertinent to blockchain networks.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for reliability and automation.
