Join Anchorage Digital's Regulatory Reporting team and become a vital part of ensuring our global compliance. You'll play a crucial role in supporting licensing, submissions, and change management across key jurisdictions like Singapore and the US. You'll contribute to managing regulatory reporting, working with regulations like BSA/AML, KYC/CDD, and PSN 01/02. You'll be involved in exam management, assisting with regulatory requests and coordinating with internal teams. You'll help maintain regulatory calendars, track deadlines, and support process improvements. Technical Skills:
- Regulatory Reporting: Proven expertise in managing the full lifecycle of regulatory reporting to EU/EEA authorities. This includes hands-on experience in preparing, meticulously reviewing, and ensuring the timely and accurate submission of complex filings. A strong understanding of developing and maintaining global regulatory reporting calendars and the ability to interpret intricate regulatory requirements to establish efficient and compliant reporting processes is essential. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and validate reporting data will be a crucial part of the role.
- Digital Asset-based Fiduciary Obligations: In-depth understanding of new and evolving digital asset regulations and their practical implications for digital asset service providers. This includes a strong grasp of fiduciary responsibilities inherent in managing client relationships and custody of digital assets. Experience in establishing and driving robust policies, implementing effective controls and monitoring mechanisms, conducting thorough risk assessments, and developing targeted training programs is crucial.
- Regulatory Change Management: Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, meticulously analyze, and strategically implement new and amended regulations. This includes a proven track record of conducting comprehensive initial screenings, collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze impact, facilitating detailed gap analyses, and developing and maintaining robust regulatory development trackers for new digital asset frameworks and financial crime directives. Experience in communicating regulatory changes clearly, leading the creation of actionable implementation plans, and monitoring their effectiveness is key.
- Regulatory Exam Management: Hands-on experience in directly managing regulatory examinations and inquiries from various financial authorities. This includes serving as the primary point of contact for information requests, expertly preparing accurate and timely responses, efficiently gathering and organizing required documentation, and driving seamless communication between internal teams and regulators. Experience in maintaining detailed logs of examinations and inquiries and leading the remediation of findings is essential.
- License Management: Proven track record of directly managing the preparation and coordination of new license applications and authorizations within relevant jurisdictions, particularly for digital asset service provider licenses and registrations. This includes practical experience in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of application materials, coordinating information collection from diverse internal stakeholders, serving as a key contact for regulatory inquiries, driving the development of comprehensive responses, and preparing supporting presentations. Experience in maintaining detailed application trackers and leading the implementation of ongoing license obligations is highly valued.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Relevant working experience in a field such as law, finance, business administration, or criminal justice.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, with substantial and demonstrable expertise in managing regulatory reporting, digital asset-based compliance, and regulatory change management.
- In-depth understanding of global digital asset regulations and their practical application within a regulated financial institution.
- Experience in establishing and driving policies and procedures to ensure compliance with fiduciary duties and safeguarding requirements for digital assets.
- Demonstrated understanding of complex, evolving global financial regulations, including those pertaining to digital assets and financial crime.
- Drives ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring accountability for delivering high-quality results while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and stringent regulatory deadlines.
- Proactively identifies and strategically addresses critical issues, ensuring timely resolution and mitigating potential risks before they escalate.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- 3-5 years working in a relevant field, such as Law (e.g., LL.M., or a relevant European legal qualification), Finance, Business Administration, or a Compliance-related discipline.
- Direct experience leading compliance with inter-company transactions and digital asset custody obligations within a regulated financial institution or digital asset service provider.
- Experience with compliance management software and tools for monitoring digital asset-related activities and managing regulatory frameworks.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- Prior experience in the crypto industry, or a fast-paced evolving environment.
