This is a remote position.
As the DeFi operations lead at Avail, you will be responsible for the strategic positioning and promotion of the Avail network and for educating about Avail in various global markets.
- Work with product, BD and marketing to design and implement incentive mechanisms to grow multi-asset staking TVL on Avail Fusion, Avail’s shared security layer.
- Grow on-chain Avail and stAvail token liquidity across various chains such as Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum and Solana.
- Work with core defi primitives like Dexes, LSTs, Oracles, and others to enhance the utility of the tokens of sovereign rollups building on Avail and partners such as Ethereum L2s and AVAIL DA.
- Support the growth of TVL and transaction volume on rollups and Ethereum L2s building on Avail.
- Engage with defi partners such as Symbiotic, Aave, and Sophon and significant defi users such as liquid funds to Avail of on-chain liquidity and multi-asset staking execution.
- Work with the Avail ecosystem team on defi-centric rollup launches and liquidity provisioning.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in defi working for an L1/L2 or defi protocol.
- Hands-on, in-depth understanding of defi products, security, and blockchain-related products.
- Deep understanding of tokenomics and incentive mechanisms and prior hands-on experience in yield farming, liquidity mining or staking.
- Ability to think strategically and develop incentives that align Avail community with partner communities and conversely.
- A good network of defi protocol builders and high volume users such as liquid funds, HNW and market makers.
- Strong experience building and maintaining relationships with community members, defi builders, and users.
- Hands-on understanding of defi security and basic operational procedures such as managing custodial wallets and custody operations.
- Ability to communicate the value and risks of defi protocols.
