Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Intelligence to join our team and lead our Business Intelligence (BI) team, based in Dubai, our global HQ. This role is critical for driving data-driven decision-making and strategy across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business analytics, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in leveraging data to optimize business performance. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin required to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:
2. Lead and mentor the Business Intelligence team, which includes various analytics functions (competitor, commercial, user (retail & institutional), product, and marketing analytics) and data application functions (crawling, data warehouse).
3. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
4. Ensure clear communication and alignment across the BI team and other departments.
5. Strategic Transparency and Performance Improvement:
6. Bring transparency to strategic priorities and provide actionable recommendations to improve the performance of the company and its core departments.
7. Develop and refine business strategies for the company and core departments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business logic.
8. Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
9. Business Growth and Optimization:
10. Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business by leveraging data tools, data techniques, and on-chain intelligence.
11. Utilize advanced analytics and business intelligence tools to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
12. Identify and implement best practices for data management and analysis.
13. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
14. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company, including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
15. Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
16. Ensure alignment of BI initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proven track record in leading and managing large BI teams and complex analytics projects.
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Deep understanding of business intelligence tools, data analytics techniques, and data management best practices.
• Ability to drive business growth and optimization through data-driven insights.
