About This Role:
Join us at Crusoe Energy as an experienced R&D - Senior Technical Project Manager, where you will drive the research, development, and implementation of critical cross-discipline and cross-organizational projects and programs. You'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that is setting the pace for the development of responsible, transformative AI infrastructure at global scale.
Crusoe is at the forefront of expanding hyperscale AI data center infrastructure and is actively doing so in Abilene, Texas and beyond. We have an opportunity for this individual to be at the forefront of leading development projects that inform/influence generational construction projects and support our country’s efforts to remain the global leader in AI technology.
Leveraging your strong engineering foundation and technical product development acumen, you will be instrumental in steering projects from initial definition through successful completion. Your leadership will ensure projects align with strategic goals, are executed efficiently, and deliver impactful results across the organization. This is a full-time position for a highly organized and proactive individual with a proven track record in technical project management.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Project Definition and Planning: Assist in and lead the technical and business definition of project scope and objectives, collaborating with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility. Develop detailed project plans to effectively monitor and track progress.
Resource and Vendor Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and manage third parties/vendors to ensure the flawless execution of multiple projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Project Documentation and Process Improvement: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Contribute to the development and refinement of Crusoe’s project management processes and procedures.
Project Execution and Control: Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Manage resource availability and allocation effectively.
Change and Risk Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Perform thorough risk management to identify and minimize potential risks.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Prepare and present clear and concise reports to management, escalating issues as needed.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish, manage, and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external third parties/vendors.
Team Leadership and Delegation: Lead and direct the work of other team members in an R&D environment, effectively delegating project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Extensive Technical Experience: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of experience in the field or a related area, coupled with a strong engineering background and technical product development experience.
Proven Project Management Expertise: Demonstrate a minimum of 15 years of dedicated Project Management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Leadership and Direction: Exhibit a proven ability to effectively lead and direct the work of other team members within an R&D setting.
Independent Work Ethic: Display a proven ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently.
Solid Project Management Foundation: Bring proven working experience and a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and reporting.
Strong Organizational Capabilities: Demonstrate solid organizational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Teamwork and Influence: Exhibit a demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and positively influence peers across the organization.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $200,000 - $215,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
