👁️About the role
Job Title: Senior Flutter Developer
Reports To: Engineering Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Flutter Developer to join our team. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a senior engineer you should have a strong understanding of the Flutter framework and be able to build high-quality, scalable mobile applications and be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, be able to work independently and as part of a team as well as an inspiring team leader to mentor/coach junior devs. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
⚖️Responsibilities
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side architecture
Design, develop, and maintain Flutter-based mobile applications.
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write clear and concise documentation and implement best practices accross the organisation
Mentor and train junior developers
Stay up-to-date on the latest Flutter developments.
✍🏾About You
Proven experience as a Flutter Developer
5+ years of experience in developing mobile applications
Strong understanding of the Flutter framework.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Experience with the Agile development lifecycle.
Experience with automated testing and building.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
Attention to detail
Excellent English speaker, French is a plus
