👁️About the role
Job Title: Lead Web Developer in ReactJS
Reports To: Engineering Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Web Developer in ReactJS to join our team. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a lead engineer you should have a deep understanding of ReactJS and be able to build high-quality, scalable web applications and be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, be able to work independently and as part of a team as well as an inspiring team leader to mentor/coach junior devs. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
⚖️Responsibilities
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate, build and deploy software solutions
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Design client-side architecture
Lead and mentor a team of Web developers.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write clear and concise documentation and implement best practices accross the organisation
Mentor and train Other developers
Stay up-to-date on the latest ReactJS developments.
✍🏾About You
5+ years of proven experience in ReactJS development.
Strong understanding of ReactJS concepts and best practices.
Experience with other front-end frameworks, such as Angular and Vue.js.
Experience with back-end technologies, such as Node.js and Nest.js.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for ReactJS and web development.
Experience with automated testing and building.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools.
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
Attention to detail
Excellent English speaker, French is a plus
