👩🏽‍💻 About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team of domain-based squads, including Backend, Mobile, Web, QA, Security, DevOps, and R&D. As a Technical PM, you will work closely with both the Head of Engineering and the Head of R&D, as well as collaborate with the Product team and other stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth execution of tasks by the technical team, using an Agile, Scrum-focused methodology. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive project success from inception to delivery.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:
Manage technical projects across domain-based squads using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Plan and prioritize the development and delivery of features, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
Collaborate with the engineering, product, and design teams to ensure technical feasibility, clear timelines, and smooth execution of deliverables.
Use tools such as ClickUp and Slack for managing workflows, reporting, and team communication.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Lead cross-functional domain squads in sprints, ensuring objectives are met on time.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Act as the bridge between the development squads and external stakeholders (Product team, Business team), ensuring clarity of tasks and priorities.
Agile Methodology & Process Improvement:
Promote and enforce Agile best practices, keeping the team focused on delivery while allowing for flexibility and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to Scrum processes, managing backlogs, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
Collaborate with the Product team to maintain well-organized product backlogs and communicate project status clearly to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with the Product team, Head of Engineering, Head of R&D, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and potential roadblocks to the leadership team.
Communicate technical challenges and milestones to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Tools & Technology:
Use project management tools such as ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) to manage tasks, deadlines, and team collaboration.
Risk & Resource Management:
Identify project risks and blockers, and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
Manage resource allocation within the team, ensuring team members have the necessary support to meet deadlines.

✍🏾About You

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proven experience managing teams working with backend, mobile and web technologies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum focus) and experience in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Proficiency with project management tools like ClickUp and collaboration tools such as Slack and Google Workspace.
Excellent leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, DevOps practices, and modern web/mobile development frameworks.
Bonus:
Certifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies (CSM, PSM, etc.).
Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand the team's technology stack.
