The Risk Oversight team is hiring for Regulatory reporting specialist.

The Regulatory reporting specialist at Cboe Clear Europe will be reporting into the Risk Oversight Director. You will be responsible for ensuring Cboe Clear complies with reporting obligations as mandated in the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (PFMIs) and equivalents. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying all appropriate legislation (and equivalents) to which Cboe Clear is subject to.
  • Ensuring the required data is available, through the means of automation, and understood by stakeholders.
  • Identifying and assigning ownership of reporting requirements.
  • Establishing and develop operational process for the successful delivery of Regulatory reporting, whilst ensuring such processes are in accordance with Cboe Clears applicable policies and procedures.
  • Acting as the subject matter expected in one or more regulations (EMIR, MIFID II trade and transaction reporting, CPMI, Macroeconomic Statistics Reporting and equivalents).

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong understanding of regulations and direct experience of monitoring and disclosure process.
  • Strong understanding of cash-equities, derivatives and Security Finance Transactions.
  • Experience with Clearing, Banking, Prime brokerage or equivalent and has at least work 5 years in such environments.
  • Exceptional high quality standard and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with risk frameworks -highly beneficial.
  • Experience with coding languages, preferable python, VBA, Oracle BI or equivalent and familiar with reporting tools like PowerBi or Oracle BI (or equivalent).
  • Has active stakeholder engagement and is able to manage those relations accordingly.
