The Market Data Team is hiring for a Business Analyst.

The Market Data Business Analyst at Cboe will work as part of the European Market Data & Access Services team, responsible for business development of the Cboe’s products and services.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support the product sales team by obtaining and compiling customer feedback to aid in enhancing or adjusting product characteristics. Analyse data and create presentations with the support of our Market team to communicate the value of Cboe European market data products
  • Research and gather competitive intelligence by compiling, organizing, and maintaining key pricing, reference, and other relevant data sets from competitors
  • Assist in identifying and assessing product opportunities based on conducting detailed analysis and research
  • Work closely with the technology team to put together requirements for new products or modifications. Drafting project initiation documentation as required.
  • Acting as project manager on a number of key initiatives to coordinate and facilitate the completion of product tasks from Cboe departments including Technology, Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Communications.
  • Assist in managing Cboe Europe’s inbound data vendor relationships.
  • Manage customer onboarding and operations, including responding to customer questions regarding market data product-specific questions, requests and/or issues.
  • Facilitate the reporting process for a global customer base and perform billing / reporting reconciliation, forecasting and trend analysis

The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in market data administration and analysis, preferably from a data vendor or financial services firm
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic
    Undergraduate or graduate level degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
