LEAD COMPENSATION PARTNER
As the Global Compensation Lead Partner, you will be instrumental in executing and managing our global compensation programs, policies, and process. As well as collaborate and act as internal consultant to the HR Business Partners on compensation related issues.
In addition to your global responsibilities, you will focus on local market expertise, particularly in the Europe and APAC regions. This involves a thorough understanding of local labor laws, cultural nuances, and market dynamics, enabling you to effectively customize our Global Total Rewards strategies. By leveraging this local insight, you will provide valuable solutions that address specific challenges and opportunities unique to these markets.
This is an individual contributor position and will report to the Global Director, Compensation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
With minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgment, provides consulting services to Cboe’s HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition partners including guidance on compensation best practices, reviewing or recommending offers to new hires and adjustments for current staff, serving as the point of contact for varied levels of constituents, providing support and guidance on compensation matters.
Leads the execution of complex compensation matters and processes including the compensation process for biannual promotions, the annual merit increase project, and the biannual short term incentive plan process.
Responsible for engaging with the European Workers Council and provide relevant information about compensation policies, changes, and practices. As well as gathering insights from employee representatives about the effectiveness and perception of compensation programs and participating in the annual EWCs meetings.
Responsible for the review of new and revised job descriptions, helping ensure required elements are documented and providing expertise on job classifications, staying up to date with all current regulations and industry best practices (might include collaborating with the EWC to navigate any legal complexities), emerging trends, and any changes that may affect operations.
Leads periodic compensation projects and develops compensation-related communications.
Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and maintains compensation process documentation.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Analytical mindset and ability to manage large, complex data sets with capability to critically evaluate data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Thorough knowledge of compensation best practices, principles, methodologies, theories
Ability to identify and solve problems creatively. And stand-up new process.
Demonstrated analytical, customer service, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, able to interface and communicate with all levels of employees in an organization
Demonstrated project management skills, with a strong attention to detail
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and ambiguity
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related discipline and minimum of 8 years of related experience
or Master’s degree in HR, business, or a related discipline and minimum of 5 years of related experience
Demonstrated data visualization and/or Excel modeling skills.
Experience working with European countries and engaging with European Workers Council.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Workday and CompAnalyst experience preferred
Experience with APAC countries preferred
Experience with Aon Radford and McLagan survey preferred
