Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets, building predictive models, and providing insights that will drive strategic decisions across our platforms: Ethlas, Gambit, and Failsafe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure our products are data-driven and optimized for performance.

• Design and implement a scalable data infrastructure that supports the collection, storage, and analysis of large-scale datasets from diverse sources, including blockchain transactions, gaming interactions, and DeFi activities.
• Develop a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the business objectives of Ethlas, Gambit, and Failsafe, ensuring that data-driven insights are at the core of our decision-making process.
• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models to predict user behavior, optimize gaming experiences, and enhance DeFi protocols. This includes recommendation engines, fraud detection models, and user retention algorithms.
• Build and refine predictive analytics models that drive personalized user experiences, improving engagement and conversion rates across our platforms.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in Web3 technology, machine learning, and data science, ensuring that Ethlas remains at the cutting edge of innovation.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to assess the impact of new features, marketing campaigns, and product improvements.
• Analyze experimental results using advanced statistical methods, providing clear and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of blockchain data, including smart contract interactions, transaction flows, and tokenomics, to generate actionable insights that inform product development and user engagement strategies.
• Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate and improve the performance of DeFi protocols within Gambit, including liquidity mining, staking, and yield farming.
• Work closely with the Failsafe team to develop risk assessment models that identify potential security vulnerabilities and enhance the resilience of our blockchain infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, or gaming analytics is highly desirable.
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Data Scientist, preferably in the Web3, blockchain, gaming, or DeFi space.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with blockchain analytics, smart contract data, and DeFi protocols is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
