Lava Labs are a post series-A studio, based in Nottingham and Amsterdam. We have just soft launched our debut game, AFAR Rush. We've built our foundation with guidance from some of the industry's top experts. Our experienced team have developed games for PC, Console, and Mobile that have been enjoyed by hundreds of millions globally.

As a Growth Director at Lava Labs, you will be responsible for spearheading the user acquisition and growth strategies for our mobile games, especially the AFAR series. This role involves a blend of marketing expertise, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the growth and success of our games. You will work closely with the Community & Social Media Team to boost our online presence and with the Product Development Team to integrate growth strategies into our game designs.
Develop and implement growth strategies to increase user base and engagement for Lava Labs’ mobile games.
Collaborate with the Community & Social Media Team to enhance our online presence and player engagement.
Utilize data analytics to monitor game performance and user behaviour, making data-driven decisions to optimize growth.
Work with the Product Development Team on monetization strategies, ensuring a balance between profitability and user experience.
Work with the Product Development Team to integrate user feedback and market trends into game development.
Manage marketing campaigns, including social media, paid ads, and influencer partnerships.
Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders in the gaming industry.
3+ years of experience in growth marketing, preferably in the mobile gaming or tech industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
Deep understanding of user acquisition channels and digital marketing for mobile games.
Experience with A/B testing.
Familiarity with SEO, influencer marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
