Key responsibilities:
- Assume leadership for HR Operations and take ownership on ensuring superb employee/stakeholder experience throughout the employee lifecycle;
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, take initiatives to implement change and ensuring industry best practices are adopted;
- Provide high touch support to employees by responding to HR related questions timely and in an approachable manner;
- Oversee all matters related to internal mobility, relocation and work visas;
- Partner with external payroll vendor on payroll administration for assigned countries;
- Conduct payroll audits and keep abreast of relevant statutory changes including pension, tax and wage laws;
- Take ownership on generalist HR responsibilities including but not limited to onboarding, employee probation, employee exit procedures, new hire orientation, benefits enrolment/administration;
- Ensure employee/HR data are maintained with high level of accuracy and sensitivity;
- Maintain strong partnerships with HRBP and Talent Acquisition;
- Other responsibilities may include (but may not necessarily be limited to) providing support to performance management, ER cases and other HR related projects.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Human Resources Management or business related disciplines;
- Around 8+ years experience in HR Operations, preferably in start-up / face-paced environments;
- Excellent team player with an “one HR” approach/mindset;
- Strong communication skills with a flexible and approachable attitude;
- Strong problem solver with commitment to tackle problems in a positive and logical manner;
- Well versed with employment laws and legislations across Asian jurisdictions;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience in using HRIS systems;
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must, due to the need to liaise with both English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
