ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Settlement Intern to support our settlement operations. This role involves organizing paper documents, preparing settlement-related documents, obtaining signatures from directors, and assisting with transaction processing. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in financial operations and administrative support within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage paper documents, ensuring proper filing and easy retrieval.

• Prepare settlement-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Obtain signatures from directors and other key personnel for approvals and settlement processes.

• Assist in the settlement and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring smooth processing.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and approved.

• Handle data entry and document verification to support the settlement team.

• Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial transactions.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive documents securely.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with directors and senior management professionally.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Prior experience in finance, operations, or administrative roles is a plus.
