Why Join Us:
At BIT, we tackle complex problems as a team. We encourage openness and promote transparency, respect, and inclusivity. Every team member is valued and has a voice that can be heard. We are always in search of intellectually curious and entrepreneurial individuals who are keen on making an impact in the crypto ecosystem and in building a better product for the next one billion users.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Community Operations Specialist to join our campaign-driven growth team and help build an engaging community for our fast-growing US-stock investing user base.
You’ll be at the centre of how users experience our campaigns across WeChat/WeCom groups, Discord/Telegram, and our in-app community — from introducing campaigns and creating content to answering questions, gathering feedback, and keeping the community active and engaging.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of room to grow. You’ll start by managing day-to-day community operations and content execution across a high-frequency campaign calendar, with 5 monthly campaigns plus 2–3 flash campaigns. As you gain experience, you’ll develop a strong understanding of our users and play a bigger role in shaping the community strategy and future campaigns.
You’ll also have the opportunity to build the community system from the ground up, rather than inherit an established setup. With direct exposure to campaigns and users, you can grow from community execution → owning a community channel → broader user operations or campaign ownership, while working closely with the manager in a small, high-visibility team where your contributions are visible and impactful.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily community management: keep the communities orderly and active, and respond to user questions promptly.
- Campaigns in the community: translate each campaign into community-side actions — teasers, launch, progress updates, winner announcements, Q&A wrap-up — so the community keeps pace with the campaign calendar.
- Community content: plan and publish ongoing content and topics (campaign posts, market discussions, how-to explainers, UGC prompts) at a steady posting and engagement cadence.
- Bilingual communication: run Chinese and English communities in parallel, posting, answering, and announcing directly in English where needed.
- User feedback: turn recurring questions, campaign complaints, and product suggestions into clear takeaways and share them with the team.
- Core users: identify active and seed users, maintain them by tier, and gradually build a reusable core-user pool.
- Data & review: track community size, activity, content engagement, and campaign participation from community channels; deliver regular reviews.
Job Requirements:
- 1–3 years in community operations, having independently run WeChat groups, Telegram, or forum-style communities (outstanding fresh graduates considered).
- Strong bilingual communication and writing — able to post, answer, and announce in English with a natural tone.
- Campaign copywriting ability: can turn a campaign plan into concrete community actions and timings, not just forward an announcement.
- Proficient with AI tools: uses AI for content drafting, topic planning, categorizing user feedback, and researching competitor communities — and distills the output into conclusions you can act on.
- Data sense: can pull and read community and content metrics and spot what's off.
- Available and responsive around campaign launches and US market hours.
Preferred:
- Community experience in fintech, brokerage, or US equities.
- Experience with bots, community management tools, or automation.
- Content experience on public platforms (Xiaohongshu, WeChat official accounts, video channels).
- Transferable KOL or community connections.
- Basic image/short-video editing.
