Qualifications

4+ years in a software engineering role with significant impact on a product and/or team
Experience & desire for working in cross functional teams with product and design people
A proven track record of developing products people love, and understanding users
Deep knowledge of a higher-level programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby
Experience with TypeScript and React will help you get started, but we can help you learn
Great if you’ve worked on SaaS, B2B2C, or a platform before but not strictly necessary

About Us

Medallion is building a new music economy, using web3 technology to help artists build deeper and more fulfilling connections with fans. With Medallion, artists can create owned and operated digital worlds that expand fan participation, actionable insights, and economic potential in ways that are not possible on the current internet. We work hand-in-hand with some of the most influential artists in the world to change the future of music fandom, including Tycho, ILLENIUM, Greta Van Fleet, Mt. Joy and Tessa Violet.
Our team is a diverse and experienced group of music and tech professionals who have built and exited successful startups. We bring expertise from companies such as Instagram, Uniswap, Hearst, Songkick, and Warner Music Group. We are funded by leading investors across tech, crypto, and music, including The Chernin Group, Third Prime, Synergis, Polygon Ventures, Another Planet Entertainment, Red Light Management, ILLENIUM, Mike Shinoda, and Tycho.
In the past 18 months since the founding of our company, we have worked quickly and diligently as a small team towards a first version of the platform that our early customers love.
